Nipple correction surgery is a relatively simple procedure that can correct inverted or turned-in nipples and re-set them in a more aesthetically pleasing position. Before you undertake inverted nipple correction, Nip n Tuck Surgery's lead surgeon Mohammad Jawad will be happy to consult with you and thoroughly discuss your personal needs and goals.
If you are thinking about undertaking any form of cosmetic surgery, it is very important to research your desired procedure, and to ensure that you are familiar with the realistic benefits, as well as the risks and limitations inherent to all surgery. Book your inverted nipple correction consultation
Inverted nipple correction surgery is usually performed under local anaesthetic, and takes around 30 - 45 minutes. In most cases of nipple correction, surgeon Mohammad Jawad will identify the tissue that is causing the nipple to retract and carefully divide it to release the inverted nipple to a normal position. The small incision on the side of the nipple area is then gently stitched so that the nipple sets in the corrected position. It is a scarless surgery.
Following your inverted nipple correction surgery, please note that the nipples are likely to be tender, and there is a possibility that you could have some bruising or swelling, which is quite normal and nothing to be concerned about. You will need some analgesia to keep the nipples dry and clean. If you encounter any pain, or become very uncomfortable after your treatment, prescription medication can be prescribed as and when needed.
After nipple correction surgery, Mr Jawad will apply a light dressing which must be kept dry for around two weeks, after which time it will be removed, and the area will be cleaned and checked.
For further information about this procedure, please contact the Nip n Tuck Surgery. A member of our team will be happy to discuss the procedure with you in detail and arrange a consultation with Mr Jawad in which he can personally assess your condition.

Male Breast Reduction is performed at London's Nip n Tuck Surgery for men wishing to remove excess breast tissue and achieve a firmer, flatter, more masculine chest.
Gynecomastia is a medical term that comes from the Greek words for 'woman' and 'breast,' and affects forty to sixty percent of the male population in the United Kingdom. The appearance of enlarged breasts can cause a great deal of embarrassment and stress, and can lead to a loss of confidence and self esteem.
The excess tissue which leads to breast enlargement can either be fatty or glandular, and it can be attributed to many different causes including: excess levels of the female hormone oestrogen, excessive alcohol intake, poor diet, drugs such as anabolic steroids, or excessive weight loss that creates sagging skin. Gynecomastia surgery, more commonly referred to as Male Breast Reduction, can result in a firmer, flatter and better contoured chest area, leading to a more aesthetically pleasing appearance, and a return of self confidence. There are three grades of gynecomastia that are treated with male breast reduction surgery.
Before you undergo any form of male breast reduction, London surgeon Mohammad Jawad will be happy to thoroughly discuss your personal options, and inform you of the optimal treatment for your needs. It is important to note that gynaecomastia surgery is not recommended for everyone, and is not a substitute for weight loss. Overweight or obese men will in most cases be advised to pursue a regime of healthy eating and exercise before considering male breast reduction surgery.
Gynecomastia surgery is performed either with sedatives and local anaesthetic, or under general anaesthetic. Depending on the individual patient, the treatment takes between one and three hours.
When excess fatty tissue is the main cause for the male breast reduction, London surgeon Mohammad Jawad will usually employ liposuction for the best results. This is where fat cells are broken down and then sucked out using a hollow tube (cannula) attached to a high powered pump. A small incision is made near the areola or by the armpit in order to allow the cannula to access the tissue, and when the treatment is complete, these incisions are stitched.
When removing excess glandular tissue, it is sometimes necessary to utilise a scalpel to break up and remove unwanted materials, and in cases where a large amount of tissue is removed, it may be necessary to make larger incisions and to remove some excess skin.
After your male breast reduction, London surgeon Mohammad Jawad will put a drain in place in order to ensure that excess blood or fluid does not build up inside the body. A pressure garment is usually worn for around one to four weeks, in which time bruising, tenderness and lumpiness can often occur, but should not persist. Pain medication will be prescribed should the need occur.
Mr Jawad notes the importance of understanding the inherent risks associated with any form of surgery, and in the case of male breast reduction surgery, these include:
Male breast reduction is an effective and lasting treatment can help restore a more pleasing physical shape in the chest area, and can restore confidence. As with any cosmetic treatment, you should consider all available options thoroughly before making any decisions, and your goals should always be realistic.

The breast uplift or mastopexy is a surgical procedure performed to raise and reshape sagging breast and can also reduce the size of the areola, the darker skin surrounding the nipple. You may decide you would like a breast lift because you have lost volume and tone in your breast having children. Another frequent reason for having this procedure is the loss of a significant amount of weight. Breast uplift can also be done in conjunction with the insertion of breast implants to correct both firmness and size of a woman's breast.
A breast uplift improvises the appearance of your breast in several ways: it elevates your breast tissue, removes excess skin from the lower portion of your breast and then reshapes your remaining breast skin. At the same time, it relocates your nipple and areola (the pigment skin surrounding tour nipple) to a higher position. If your areolas have stretched over time, they can de reduced in size. Women who have their breasts lifted often may decide to also have them enlarged. If this is the case, an implant is placed behind the breast tissue or chest muscle. Book your breast uplift consultation
A commonly performed breast lift technique uses incisions that follow your breast’s natural contour. The resulting scar, which is permanent but will fade to some extent overtime, encircles the areola and then extends vertically down the breast and horizontally along the crease underneath the breast. There are other breast lift techniques that may eliminate the horizontal incision, the vertical incision, or both. The use of any particular pattern of incisions depends on individual patient factors and your surgeon’s recommendation.

Breast reduction surgery, often referred to as a 'boob job', is a cosmetic operation to make your breasts smaller, and sometimes to improve their shape.
For many women suffering the effects of overly large breasts a breast reduction can offer relief, a new shape and reinvigorated confidence. Physical problems such as back & neck pain and bad posture can also be improved through such a procedure.
The operation involves making small incisions under your breasts to remove excess skin and tissue. Your surgeon will then re-shape and re-position your breasts to lift and firm them. It may also be necessary to re-position your nipples to compliment your new breast shape and create a natural result. The operation will be performed under a general anaesthetic and you will usually need to stay in hospital for one night. Book your breast reduction consultation
The operation is performed under a general anesthetic and usually takes about 2 to 3 hours. Your surgeon will make a cut on the line of the areola (the dark area around the nipple) and a vertical cut underneath your areola. They will remove some of the breast tissue, and the excess fat and skin. Your surgeon will reshape your breast and lift your nipple so it is in a higher position.
Possible complications Any operation carries certain risks of pain, bleeding, hematoma, infection to surgical wounds and blood clots. More specific to breast reduction surgery, however, are the following:
After a breast reduction, London based surgeon Mohammad Jawad of the Nip n Tuck Surgery says that you should be able to go home the next day. Most women return to normal activities within two to three weeks after breast reduction. London clinic Nip n Tuck Surgery advises that you should be able to return to work after the first week, depending on your type of job. You should be able to do a limited amount of activity, such as lifting young children, after about two weeks.
Regular exercise should help you to resume normal activities as soon as possible after breast reduction. We recommend that you ask a member of the healthcare team or your GP for advice before you start exercising. The results of a breast reduction improve gradually over time. Your breasts should become softer and more natural.
A breast reduction is a cosmetic operation to make your breasts smaller. It is only suitable for certain women. You should consider the options carefully and have realistic expectations about the results.

Breast Enhancement: London's Nip n Tuck Surgery provide this popular cosmetic surgery procedure, making it available to women who wish to improve the appearance and size of their breasts.
An incision for placement of your implants can be made underneath your breast, just above the crease; around the lower edge of your areola (the pigmented skin surrounding your nipple); or in your armpit. A pocket is created for the implant either behind your breast tissue or behind the muscle between your breast and chest wall.
Mr Jawad will discuss with you the current evidence on which type of breast implant is best for you, and how long your breast implant is likely to last. A careful medical history will also be taken to ensure there are no reasons why you shouldn't have a breast enhancement procedure. All risks will also be discussed with you. If you have experienced healing problems with any past surgical treatments or if you are prone to keloid (red, angry, raised) scars, Mr Jawad may not recommend breast enhancement for you or may caution you that scars could be very visible.
Breast enhancement / augmentation is usually performed under a general anaesthetic. The surgery generally takes about ninety minutes. You should be able to return home soon after the surgery. Often patients go home in the afternoon following surgery in the morning, or they may require just a night's stay in the clinic. Most patients find that they can return to work after a few days' recuperation.
