For many years, clinic founder and lead surgeon Mohammad Jawad has worked alongside the Islamic Help Charity on a variety of major projects throughout the world, providing expertise to those in need of reconstructive surgery and expertise.

Background

Islamic Help is a UK registered charity and international NGO established in 2003 by a group of young people determined to make a difference to the lives of those afflicted by poverty and suffering. Characterised by its involvement with young people and its ability to inspire, motivate and mobilise young people Islamic Help now works in over 20 countries and has offices in Birmingham, London, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sudan and Tanzania.

Our Involvement

The Nip n Tuck Surgery's Mohammad Jawad works closely with Islamic Help and is continuously involved in many of its projects throughout various parts of the world. In recent years, Mr Jawad has led teams of surgeons on behalf of the charity in performing hundreds of procedures on those in desperate need of surgical help. These projects have seen the treatment of those suffering from severe acid burns and cleft lip/palette disorders. In 2010, the 'Saving Face' documentary produced by Naked Edge Productions followed Mr Jawad and his team in their work for Islamic Help - This documentary has since been shortlisted for nomination by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences.
